What's BAM! Festival Like?

Niña Mata
"What a weekend!! Huge thanks to the Book Arts and Music Festival (BAM!) @booksartmusicfest for being such thoughtful, generous hosts. Meeting the kids, sharing stories, and feeling the joy in that space reminded me exactly why I do this work at a time in our life where the noise gets so distracting.
Endless gratitude to Rohi’s Readery @rohisreadery and the amazing Pranoo for your heart and hospitality.
If you ever get the chance to go to BAM! [Festival] in West Palm Beach, run, don’t walk. Truly unforgettable."

"I just spent the weekend in West Palm Beach at the most lovely @booksartmusicfest with a plethora of amazing creators from @ngoziu to @erikjb to @adibkhorram and @matteolcerilli @adriannacuevas @evangriffith14 @zoepersicoart and more. (Why can’t i tag you Justin Reynolds?! LOL.)
As usual i forgot to take pictures, but i did take several at ROHI’S READERY. It was the most beautiful space for young readers… it was warm and welcoming and place to grow compassion and kindness and love, not just for others, but for the self. Plus it was named after the owner’s grandmother which you know hits my softspot. If you ever get a chance, GO. If not, consider a donation. Lets make the world a better place together."

"What a wonderful experience the @booksartmusicfest festival was! Thank you so much for inviting me to join in the fun! Thankful to all the young readers and families who attended. It was great meeting with long-time @scbwi_florida @florida_scbwi author and illustrators friends and meeting new friends. Special thanks to all the festival organizers, volunteers, librarians, @rohisreadery, @pranoo_k, @teresarodrigueswrites, and everyone @mandelpubliclibrary who contributed to the event! Not only was the festival well-organized but so much thoughtfulness was put into the event including the adorable cupcakes 🧁!"

"Fun times at the @booksartmusicfest in West Palm Beach this past weekend! Nice to see old friends and meet new ones. Such a nice group of creative folks—and the organizers/volunteers were awesome and so welcoming. I loved visiting @rohisreadery too—a beautiful bookstore and learning center with a social justice focus. They’re doing incredible community work. 🌴📚☀️"

"Thank you, BAM Festival!! I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all that you and your partners poured into making BAM 2023 such a phenomenal experience. One of the things that made me jump at the offer (in addition to the opportunity to be in West Palm Beach 🏖️ in April) was the Festival’s organization of author visits with local schools. I had the privilege of nerding out about BLUE with all the K-5 students at Freedom Shores Elementary for a whole day. The wise and hilarious insights many of the children shared need to be embroidered on someone’s cross stitch pillow! The panels lit up my spirit, as did the generosity of each writer I got to connect with."
