Keith Jr.
Tony Keith Jr., PhD is a Black gay poet, author, and spoken-word artist from Washington, DC. He’s the author of How the Boogeyman Became a Poet and the YA poetry collection Knucklehead (HarperCollins). Tony’s work blends Hip-Hop, storytelling, and the power of youth voice, and he travels nationally and internationally to perform and teach. He is also the founder of Ed Emcee Academy, an education and arts organization that brings poetry and Hip-Hop culture to classrooms, libraries, and communities.
