David LaRochelle is a recipient of the Sid Fleischman Humor Award and the author of many books for young readers, including Isle of You, illustrated by Jaime Kim; and Theodor Seuss Geisel Award winner See the Cat: Three Stories About a Dog, See the Dog: Three Stories About a Cat, and How to Apologize, all illustrated by Mike Wohnoutka.  David LaRochelle is very sorry that he stole his sister’s diary and read it to his next-door neighbor when he was ten years old.
