Khorram

Adib Khorram is the queer Iranian American author of award-winning books for young readers, including the YA novels DARIUS THE GREAT IS NOT OKAY, which won the William C. Morris Award, the Asian-Pacific American Literature Award, a Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor, and was named one of TIME Magazine's 100 Greatest YA Novels of All Time; DARIUS THE GREAT DESERVES BETTER, which received a Stonewall Honor; KISS & TELL; and THE BREAKUP LISTS. He is also the author of the picture books SEVEN SPECIAL SOMETHINGS: A NOWRUZ STORY and BIJAN ALWAYS WINS. When he isn't writing, you can find him steeping a cup of oolong or playing his Fender Stratocaster. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where people don't usually talk about themselves in third person.
